Kaye England is a world-renowned fabric designer, author, lecturer, tv personality and educator who has traveled the globe sharing her inspirations and techniques. She was raised on a farm in Kentucky but now resides on 8 acres in Indianapolis, Indiana which she happily shares with her llamas and goats.
She began quilt making and fabric collecting in the early 1980s, having been influenced by a family of needleworkers. Kaye was a successful quilt shop owner for many years openly sharing her secrets of success as she continues to mentor many current shop owners. Kaye exudes a style that draws repeat audiences having been described as a colorful individual that generates enthusiasm and excitement as she shares her smart piecing techniques. She now designs fabrics for Wilmington Prints and heads her own publishing company, Kaye England Publications. She continues to travel the world conducting sell-out lectures and workshops showcasing her wonderful and infectious fabrics, patterns and quilts, as well as her unique and honest outlook on life. Kaye can also be seen on several episodes of HGTV?s Simply Quilts.
Despite a hectic teaching schedule, Kaye always finds time to quilt. She has written 13 books and produced popular feature length instructional DVD's using her Good Measure rulers, (formally known as Nifty Notions).
Of all her accolades and achievements though, Kaye states that her grandest accomplishments are her two children, six grandchildren and the most recent addition of a great-granddaughter.
