MODtana Mud - Artist Proof

Spring and Summer introduce an abundance of new growth and repair. The variation of “Mud” reminds me of tire tread marks from construction in soft soil. However, it takes on the look of pattern and growth in nature too. My second year at the Archie Bray Foundation I was able to experience construction on their new gallery building. I was inspired by routine, pattern, and man made markings left by hand, machine, and process. Mud is a snapshot of what inspired me from this process.
