I have a machine...Now What?
Do you have a machine and don't know how to use it? This is the class for you.
This basic sewing class will get you familiar with your machine. Learn how to thread a machine, how to wind a bobbin, how to clean machine, change needle and select stitches. Students will create a project in class.
This is a great class for a new sewist and someone wanting to learn the basics.
Supplies needed: (Students are eligible for 15% off class supplies at The Sewing Palace.)
- Sewing machine
- Bobbin
- Power cord
- New sewing machine needles size 80/12
- Basic presser foot
- Small scissors to cut thread
- Pins or wonder clips
- Seam ripper

| Instructor Bio: | Jenny loves all things stitched. She loves small projects, quilts, crafts, bags, table runners...well you get the picture, if it has fabric and color in it she loves it. She has been sewing since she was about 8 years old. Her mom, Sue owned the business and opened it in 1995. Jenny joined the team in 2000 and has been stitching and embroidering ever since. |
