Twilight Garden
Introducing Twilight Garden, a new sew, embroider and quilt-along project that hightlights key features of BERNINA top-of-the-line mahines. This project uses decorative sewing techniques, BERNINA accessories, and the unique of the B990 to create a unique and modern quilt, finishing at 96" X 96". Supply list includes accessories that you will be able to try in class.

Lesson 1: Use decorative stitches and combinations from Combi Mode to embellish fabric Click here for cutting for class 1 & 2
Lesson 2: Go big with stitch recipes by adding Sideeways Motion stitches and Jumbo Stitch
Lesson 3: Use Stitch Designer on your 990, 790 Pro, 880 Plus, or 790 Plus to edit existing stitches, drraw your own or combine the two
Lesson 4: Add dimension to bocks by mastering several methods of tucks and pintucks
Lesson 5: Incorporate yarns or floss with couching techniques to add texture
Lesson 6: Learn several methods for accomplishing applique in-the-hoop, including using the Cutwork Tool
Lesson 7: Add embellishment to appliqued blocks using decorative stitches and Customizable Quilt Designs, all in embroidery
Lesson 8: Use heavy decorative threads in bobbinwork with Customizable Quilt Designs to add texture to quilt blocks in-the-hoop
Lesson 9: Learn tips and tricks for perfect patchwork as you piece the remaining blocks and begin assembling the quilt top
Lesson 10: Begin the quilting process with some basic techniques, like stitch-in-the-ditch, and prefectly place designs with computerized quilting.
Lesson 11: Finish quilting with free-motion techniques, including rulerwork using the BERNINA Integrated Stitch Regulator.
Lesson 12: Add finishing touches to the quilt in the final assembly steps including binding and personalizing with a quilt label
