MODtana Structure - Boneyard

This pattern and its variation is not one to be uncommon to anyone. There’s familiarity to a cross shape and for many comfort may be associated with it. I found this shape in so many physical manifestations this past year. It kept popping up everywhere. While developing the pattern in the creation process I also began to think about structure beyond the physical manifestation of buildings. Having spent my teenage years in military schools I think of structure as a system as well as particular people and events. The patterns from this collection hold things very near and dear to me. Aside from the title I will only provide a brief description for I don’t wish to give away it’s spirit and true meaning.
